"Brahmins can mutate like the corona virus": In a blatant show of Brahmin hatred, a Periyarist leader openly threatened that rivers of blood will flow if Brahmins don’t reform, exporting hate-filled ideology to other states in name of social justice

Addressing the crowd before him he said, “Now they have come in thousands and lakhs”, implying that the current and next generation of Periyarists are ready to unleash violence on Brahmins to let a river of blood flow on the streets

In a blatant show of Brahmin hatred, a Periyarist leader has openly threatened that rivers of blood will flow if Brahmins don’t reform. Recalling what Periyar aka EV Ramasamy said about the upcoming generations being more virulent than himself in Brahmin hatred, he said that lakhs have come forward making his words true. In another instance, DMK ally and Chidambaram Lok Sabha MP Thirumavalavan had called Brahmins “Corona Virus”.

The Nazi-like hatred Dravidians and Periyarists have for Brahmins is well known. They have been emboldened by DMK coming to power and have been trying to live their rabid fantasies. They have also been trying to export the hate-filled ideology to other states in the name of introducing social justice. Thus it becomes imperative to expose their thought process and plans for the future.

In an undated video that went viral on Twitter, Kovai Ramakrishnan, President of the Thanthai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam(TPDK), boasted that lakhs of followers of Periyar aka EV Ramasamy have come forth to fulfill his dreams. He recalled what Ramasamy had said 70 years ago. He repeated his words, “Paappans you better reform yourselves when I’m alive. I’m being very soft. The hoard that follows me won’t be as soft. There will be rivers of blood. Youngsters and children and everyone will come forward”.

Addressing the crowd before him he said, “Now they have come in thousands and lakhs”, implying that the current and next generation of Periyarists are ready to unleash violence on Brahmins to let a river of blood flow on the streets. This should not be taken lightly as in January 2020, members of the same outfit had hurled petrol bombs inside columnist and Thuglaq magazine’s editor S Gurumurthy, a Brahmin.

In another instance, in an attempt to supposedly oppose Brahminism, TPDK had organized an event to make pigs wear janeu on Avani Avittam, when Tamil Brahmins change their janues. They put the thread on some pigs and let them run on the road frightening the commuters. Police arrested them for creating a nuisance and a poor pig died due to their harassment.

At another event rabid anti-Hindu and anti-Brahmin Dravidianist, Thol.Thirumavalavan, LS MP of Chidambaram constituency and DMK’s ally Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi’s chief called Brahmins “CoronaVirus”. Speaking at an event organized to commemorate Periyarist Tamil poet Inquilab, he compared Brahmins with the Corona virus.

He said, “Something that has been dominating us and is in the leading/ruling position, we are duty-bound to understand how it has evolved today. Brahminism has the power to mutate like Corona virus. It is an ideology with the ability to mutate. It is a mutant virus”. Dravidianists and Ambedkarites have been claiming that they are only against Brahminism and not Brahmins themselves.

But through their actions, they have repeatedly proved that their ideologies are purely anti-Brahmin. Thirumavalavan didn’t find Brahminism in Chidambaram temple when he went there to seek votes from the Dikshitars who offered a warm welcome despite his call for demolishing the temple claiming that it was originally a Buddha Vihar. His speech isn’t much different from EV Ramasamy’s words that when one spot a snake and a Brahmin together one should kill the Brahmin first. Yet, despite hurling so many abuses against the community and inciting others against them, these people continue to escape judicial action as the laws of equality are skewed.
