A big problem came up in Uttar Pradesh when the police caught a man doing something very wrong. The man’s name is Ravindra Kumar, and he worked at an ordnance factory in Firozabad. The cops found out he was helping Pakistan’s spy group, called the Inter-Services Intelligence, or ISI. What’s surprising is how he got tricked into this mess. “The handler's contact, the cops said, had been saved in Ravindra Kumar's phone under the name 'Chandan Store Keeper 2',” the police told everyone. It’s a weird name to save someone’s number under, right? But that’s how this secret game started.

“Uttar Pradesh's Anti-Terrorism Squad has arrested a man working in an ordnance factory in Firozabad on suspicion of spying for Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence, or ISI,” the news came out loud and clear. The Anti-Terrorism Squad, or ATS, is a special police team that handles big dangers like this. They grabbed Ravindra because he was sharing secret things he shouldn’t have. The head of UP ATS, Nilabja Choudhary, spoke about it on Friday. “The man - Ravindra Kumar - shared confidential data, including information the Gangayaan space project and the trial of a military logistics-delivery drone,” he said. This wasn’t just small stuff—Gangayaan is India’s space project to send people into space, and the drone was for the army. Another person close to Ravindra got caught too. “An associate of Ravindra Kumar has also been arrested,” the police added. So, it wasn’t just one guy causing trouble.

The ATS didn’t catch him out of nowhere. “Mr Choudhary said UP ATS and other law enforcement agencies had been alerted to Ravindra Kumar possibly leaking data to a female handler - code name Neha Sharma - working for the ISI,” the boss explained. They had a hint that Ravindra was talking to someone dangerous—a woman using the fake name Neha Sharma. The police started watching him closely. “So, our Agra unit did a preliminary interrogation of Ravindra Kumar and then he was called to ATS headquarters for more detailed questioning, where it was revealed that he shared very sensitive information through a handler called 'Neha',” Mr. Choudhary told reporters. First, the Agra team asked him some questions. Then, they took him to the main office to dig deeper. That’s when they found out he was giving away big secrets to this Neha.

How did this Neha reach him? “The handler's contact, Mr Choudhary said, had been saved in Ravindra Kumar's phone under the name 'Chandan Store Keeper 2'. Sharma had initiated contact with Kumar via Facebook,” the police said again. She messaged him on Facebook, pretending to be friendly. After that, they started chatting on WhatsApp. “And once that contact was established, Kumar shared information via WhatsApp,” the cops found out. It’s scary how easy it was for her to get him to talk.

Mr. Choudhary said this trick isn’t new. “This ISI model has been around a long time,” he told everyone. He called it a “honey-trap,” where women trick men into sharing secrets, especially about the army or defense. “They trap people and extract information that poses a huge threat to national security. While interrogating him we found he shared information with said handler... which included daily production reports of the ordnance factory he was working in, requisition details...” he added. Ravindra told Neha about what the factory made every day and what supplies they needed. That’s stuff the enemy could use to hurt the country.

The police boss didn’t stop there. He warned everyone working in places like ordnance factories. “He also called on all ordnance factories and other defence-related institutions to tighten security protocols and ‘maintain a minimum level of security on all employees’,” he said. He wants them to check their workers better and keep things safe so this doesn’t happen again.

UP: One More Arrested for Sharing Ordnance Factory Information with Alleged Pakistani Agent

The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has caught another person for sharing secret papers from an ordnance factory with a woman they think is a Pakistani agent. “The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has made another arrest in connection with the alleged sharing of confidential and sensitive documents from an ordnance factory with a suspected Pakistani agent, said police on Wednesday,” the police said.

This comes after they arrested Ravindra Kumar, who worked at the Ordnance Factory in Firozabad. He was talking to a woman named Neha Sharma, who police say is a Pakistani agent. “The arrest follows a previous detention of Ravindra Kumar, an employee at the Ordnance Factory in Firozabad, who was found to be conspiring with a woman named Neha Sharma, an alleged Pakistani agent, to share critical documents,” the police stated.

The new person arrested is Vikas Kumar, who works at the Ordnance Factory in Kanpur. The police say he was also giving secret papers to Neha Sharma. “According to the police, the latest arrest involves Vikas Kumar, an employee at the Ordnance Factory in Kanpur. The police claim that Kumar was also in contact with Neha Sharma and was providing her with confidential and important documents related to the factory's operations,” they said.

The police shared more details. “On March 13, Ravindra Kumar, working in Ordnance Factory Firozabad, was arrested by ATS Uttar Pradesh, who was conspiring with alleged Pakistani agent Neha Sharma and sharing confidential and important sensitive information/documents of Ordnance Factory,” they said. Then they found out about Vikas. “In this sequence, ATS Uttar Pradesh received intelligence that Kumar Vikas, working in Ordnance Factory Kanpur, is also connected with the said alleged Pakistani agent Neha Sharma and is providing confidential information and documents of Ordnance Factory to the alleged Pakistani agent through WhatsApp. A case has been registered, and the accused is being arrested and further action is being taken,” the police added.

The ATS boss, Nilabja Choudhary, had talked about Ravindra’s arrest before. “Earlier, Additional Director General (ADG) UP ATS Nilabja Choudhary, following the arrest of Ravindra Kumar, had said that the accused, working at the Ordnance Factory in Hazratpur, district Firozabad, was called to ATS headquarters in Lucknow and arrested following a detailed interrogation,” the police said. “The official further added that the accused, Kumar, passed sensitive defence-related documents to a woman handler identified as 'Neha,' a Pakistani intelligence operative,” they added.

Mr. Choudhary told reporters how they caught Ravindra. “ATS UP and their associate agencies got information that there is a person named Ravindra Kumar who was sharing different confidential and sensitive information with his Pak ISI handler. So, working on this, our Agra unit did a preliminary interrogation of Ravindra Kumar, and he was called to ATS headquarters for a detailed interrogation, where it was proved that he shared very sensitive information through a handler named Neha,” he said.

He asked factories to be careful. “ADG Choudhary also requested all sensitive institutions to maintain a minimum level of security checks on their employees,” he said.
