On a significant Monday, the 22nd of January 2024, a deeply emotional and historic moment unfolded at the Ram Mandir temple in Ayodhya. Sadhvi Rithambara and BJP leader Uma Bharti, key figures in the Ram Janmabhoomi movement, were seen sharing a poignant embrace. This movement, central to the hearts of millions, was dedicated to reclaiming the birthplace of Lord Ram, a revered deity in Hinduism.

The image of these two influential leaders, known for their fervent advocacy in the Ram Janmabhoomi struggle, hugging each other, captured a moment of raw emotion. This occurred just minutes before the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla, a highly anticipated event marking the deity's return to his birthplace. It was a scene that struck a chord, not only with those present but also across the nation, as photographs of this tender moment quickly spread across the internet.

Sadhvi Rithambara, visibly moved, could not contain her tears as she embraced Uma Bharti. This display of emotion underscores the profound significance of the day for those who have been deeply invested in the movement. For them, and for lakhs of Ram devotees, the 22nd of January 2024 is a day filled with overwhelming emotions. It signifies the return of Lord Ram to his hallowed birthplace, Janmabhoomi, in Ayodhya - a moment many have longed to see.

Sadhvi Rithambara and Uma Bharti have been pivotal in leading and energizing the Ram Janmabhoomi movement. Their relentless efforts have been instrumental in the movement, leading up to the landmark Supreme Court decision in November 2019. This verdict was a turning point, as it granted the disputed site to Hindus for the construction of a temple dedicated to Lord Ram, a decision that was celebrated by many across the nation.

The temple town of Ayodhya has been magnificently prepared for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. This ceremony marks a monumental milestone - the reconsecration of Ram Lalla, a symbolic return of the deity to his rightful place after nearly 500 years. The history of this site is steeped in conflict and emotion, having been taken over by Mughal invaders who demolished a pre-existing temple to build a mosque. The ceremony, therefore, is not just a religious ritual; it represents the culmination of centuries of struggle, perseverance, and sacrifices made by countless Hindu devotees. These devotees, some of whom gave their lives, fought tirelessly to reclaim the Ram Janmabhoomi, a site of immense religious and cultural significance.

Janaki Temple in Janakpur Dham, Nepal is getting ready for Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha, to celebrate by lighting 1 Lakh 25,000 Diyas

Today marks a momentous occasion not only in Ayodhya, India, but also in the sacred town of Janakpur Dham in Nepal. As the Bhavya Ram Mandir in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya gears up for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, a parallel celebration is taking place at Maa Sita’s birthplace in Janakpur. The Janaki Temple in Janakpur Dham is set to illuminate the night with 1 Lakh 25,000 clay Diyas, lighting up in unison to honor Shri Ram’s Pran Pratishtha in his Janmabhoomi.

The Janaki Temple, an architectural marvel and a beacon of cultural and religious significance, is decked out for the grand event. This temple, dedicated to Sita, is a symbol of devotion and reverence in the heart of Janakpur Dham.

Janakpur, known as the birthplace of Sita, is nestled in the Dhanusha district in the Terai region of Nepal. This historic town, once the capital of the ancient Mithila kingdom, is rich in religious and cultural heritage. It was here that King Janak, Sita’s father, ruled. The town is a living testament to its deep-rooted connection to the epic Ramayana, with its numerous temples, monasteries, and artistic centers that echo the tales of the past.

The Janki Temple, the largest in Nepal, stands majestically in Janakpur, dedicated to Princess Sita. This temple is not just a structure; it is a symbol of the timeless love story of Sita and Ram, who were married in this very town. The temple's grandeur and its connection to Sita make it a significant pilgrimage site for devotees from around the world.

Janakpur Dham is a town where every corner, every square, breathes the stories of Sita and Ram. The residents of this town hold their beloved princess, Sita, in high esteem, celebrating her life and legacy. The town's annual celebration of Vivah Panchami, commemorating the wedding of Sita and Ram, is a testament to the enduring devotion and respect for this divine union. The lighting of 1 Lakh 25,000 Diyas at the Janaki Temple is not just a celebration; it's a profound expression of the shared cultural and religious heritage that binds the people of Nepal and India, transcending geographical boundaries.

In May 2018, a significant event took place that further strengthened the cultural and religious ties between India and Nepal. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alongside the then Nepal Prime Minister KP Oli, visited the Janaki Temple in Janakpur Dham. During this visit, PM Modi inaugurated the Janakpur-Ayodhya bus service, symbolizing a physical and spiritual connection between these two important religious sites.

Fast forward to the present, and we see the echoes of this deep connection in the events surrounding the Pran Pratishtha of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. A grand contingent of devotees from Nepal, particularly from Janakpur, has journeyed to Ayodhya with a heartwarming purpose. These devotees, revering Lord Ram as not just a deity but also as their son-in-law, have brought with them thousands of traditional wedding gifts. This gesture is symbolic of their joy for Lord Ram and their affection for Maa Sita, who is revered as a daughter of Nepal.

These gifts are more than just items; they represent the love, respect, and deep-rooted spiritual connection that the people of Nepal share with Lord Ram and Maa Sita. Speaking to the Indian media, the devotees expressed their happiness and pride in seeing Lord Ram finally getting a grand temple. They view their offerings as gifts for their sister’s (Sita’s) new home, a sentiment that beautifully captures the familial bond they feel with these divine figures.

Back at the Janaki Temple in Janakpur Dham, the atmosphere is equally vibrant and devout. Special pujas and dedicated rituals are being organized to celebrate the grand Pratishtha of the Bhavya Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla done, over a billion Hindus bow before Arun Yogiraj’s divine creation to seek blessings

The Pran Pratishtha of the Bhavya Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, a momentous event in Hindu religious history, has been completed, marking a new chapter. Under the auspices of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this ceremony has sanctified the grand idol of Shri Ram's Baal Swarup, the childhood form of Lord Ram. This idol now holds a place of deep reverence for over a billion Hindus worldwide, symbolizing their faith and devotion.

In a heartfelt interaction with the media, the sculptor behind this divine creation, Arun Yogiraj, shared his overwhelming emotions. He expressed feeling like the luckiest person on earth, attributing his success to the blessings of his ancestors, family members, and, most significantly, Lord Ram Lalla himself. The selection of Yogiraj’s idol, representing a five-year-old Ram Lalla, as the main Achal Murti (permanent idol) for the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple is a testament to his skill and devotion.

The distinction and significance of the idols in the temple need some explanation for a broader understanding. The Achal Murti, the permanent idol, is now the main idol in the temple. This is distinct from the Utsav Murti, which is used during festivals and special occasions. Moreover, the old idols of child Ram Lalla, which have been worshipped in a makeshift shrine until now, hold a special place in the hearts of devotees. These idols will continue to be venerated in the current sanctum sanctorum alongside the new Murti.

This arrangement reflects the continuity and respect for the religious sentiments of millions of devotees. The Pran Pratishtha ceremony is not just a ritual; it's a culmination of faith, hope, and devotion for Hindus worldwide. As they bow before the divine creation of Arun Yogiraj, it symbolizes their reverence and collective aspiration for spiritual fulfillment. The Bhavya Ram Mandir, with its new and old idols, stands as a beacon of Hindu faith, drawing devotees from all corners of the globe to witness and be part of this historic and spiritual journey.

PM Modi Showers Flower Petals to Honour the ‘Shramiks’ Involved in the Construction of the Bhavya Ram Mandir in Ayodhya

In a gesture that resonated with warmth and appreciation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid homage to the workers, or 'shramiks', who played a pivotal role in constructing the Bhavya Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Following the Pran Pratishtha puja of Ram Lalla's idol, PM Modi was seen walking amongst the seated engineers, architects, and skilled artisans, holding a basket filled with flower petals. He showered these petals over them, symbolizing gratitude and recognition for their tireless efforts and dedication in building the holy temple.

This simple yet profound act by Modi highlighted the importance of acknowledging the hard work and determination of everyone involved in the construction process. It was a moment that underscored the value of every hand that contributed to making the dream of the Ram Mandir a reality.

It is noteworthy that the construction of the Ram Mandir involved the collaboration of several esteemed organizations. Larsen & Toubro (L&T), a renowned Indian engineering and infrastructure company, generously offered its services without charge, bringing its vast experience and technical expertise to the project. This included overseeing everything from design to execution. Alongside L&T, other significant contributors were Tata Consulting Engineers Limited (TCEL), Central Building Research Institute, National Geophysical Research Institute, and IITs from Guwahati and Madras, each playing a crucial role in the temple's construction.

In the aftermath of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, Prime Minister Modi addressed a large gathering, including nearly 7,000 guests, seers, and saints of Sanatana Dharma. His address was both passionate and emotional. In a particularly moving moment, PM Modi sought forgiveness from Lord Shri Ram, reflecting on the centuries-long wait for the temple's construction. He expressed hope that Lord Shri Ram would forgive the delays and shortcomings in this long journey.

PM Modi also recalled the sanctity and divinity of the moment inside the Garbh Griha (sanctum sanctorum), describing it as a time of divine blessing from Shri Ram. He drew parallels between Shri Ram’s 14-year exile in the Treta Yuga and his 500-year absence in the Kali Yuga, emphasizing the historical and spiritual significance of this moment.

Furthermore, PM Modi praised the Supreme Court for its pivotal verdict in 2019 regarding the Ram Janmabhoomi, commending the court for maintaining the dignity of justice. He expressed pride in the fact that the construction of the Ram Mandir was achieved through proper judicial and legal procedures.

The Prime Minister concluded by highlighting the nationwide celebration, comparing the day to Deepavali. He noted that in the evening, 'Ram Jyoti' would be lit in every house, symbolizing the unity and joy of the country in celebrating this historic and auspicious occasion.
