"India’s bold new doctrine": Swift strikes on terror camps, no fear of nuclear threats, no distinction between terrorists and their backers; NDA vows zero tolerance against cross-border terrorism under PM Modi’s iron-willed leadership

In a bold and historic move, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Parliamentary Party has passed a strong resolution following the barbaric terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22nd April, where 26 innocent Hindus were massacred by The Resistance Front (TRF), a known Lashkar-e-Taiba proxy based in Pakistan. The resolution not only condemned the brutality of the attack but also praised the bravery of Indian armed forces and reaffirmed the unshakable leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In response to the Pahalgam tragedy, the Indian government carried out Operation Sindoor on the night of 6th and 7th May, a carefully executed military action involving precision strikes on terrorist camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK). These strikes were designed to be non-escalatory yet firm, ensuring no innocent lives were harmed while delivering a strong message to terror sponsors.
“New India, under PM Shri @narendramodi, will always strike back.”
This clear and direct message was posted by the official BJP handle on August 5, 2025, encapsulating India’s new posture — one that does not wait for international sympathy or permission, but takes decisive action in defence of its people.
The resolution passed by the NDA Parliamentarians celebrated the unmatched courage of India’s forces, the resolute leadership of PM Modi, and India’s steadfast commitment to fighting terrorism, regardless of the cost. It reiterated PM Modi’s vow made during his speech in Bihar, where he promised to hunt down every terrorist and their enablers, holding them accountable for their crimes.
Marking a clear shift in India’s strategic doctrine, the resolution outlined three uncompromising principles that will now define India’s response to terrorism:
Every terror attack will receive a firm and proportionate reply, designed and executed entirely on India’s terms, and aimed at the source of the threat—no more symbolic gestures or half-measures.
India will not be intimidated by nuclear blackmail. Any threat of nuclear retaliation will not prevent India from launching strikes when necessary, even under such looming risks.
There will be no difference made between terrorist groups and the governments that support them. If a state sponsors, shelters, or funds terrorists, it will be held equally responsible.
The name “Operation Sindoor” was not chosen lightly. The resolution explained its symbolism — an act of restoring dignity. The terrorists, through their inhuman violence, sought to dishonour Indian women, but India responded with swift justice. The military action was not just about eliminating targets; it was about reaffirming the power of India’s women (Nari Shakti), who stood firmly behind this bold decision.
Further, the resolution gave credit to the Modi government's ongoing defence reforms, which were critical to the operation’s success. Key contributions included the advancement in drone technology, greater joint coordination among the forces, and a push for indigenisation of defence equipment — all of which enabled India to act swiftly and effectively.
Following the operation, India made its position known to the world. 59 Members of Parliament were sent to 32 different countries to explain India’s stance and expose the face of Pakistan-backed terrorism. The result was powerful. The United States officially designated TRF as a Foreign Terrorist Organisation and included it under the Specially Designated Global Terrorist Group list. Meanwhile, BRICS, a coalition including China and Russia, unanimously condemned the Pahalgam attack in its Joint Declaration, showing a shift in global opinion aligned with India’s new doctrine.
The resolution concluded with a clear and determined message — the days of passive diplomacy and waiting are over. As per the new vision under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, India will not just defend itself, it will retaliate and reaffirm its global position as a nation that will neither forget nor forgive acts of terror.
This is a new India. A fearless India. An India that strikes back.

India’s Iron Resolve: NDA’s Powerful Resolution After Pahalgam Massacre and Operation Sindoor
In the aftermath of the heart-wrenching Pahalgam terror attack, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Parliamentary Party passed a powerful resolution that expressed deep sorrow, unwavering patriotism, and a renewed national resolve. The resolution opened by paying deep condolences to the victims and saluting the unmatched courage of India’s armed forces who carried out Operation Sindoor and Operation Mahadev with fearless precision and unmatched bravery. Their actions, it declared, were a testament to their unflinching devotion to the protection of India and its people.
The resolution hailed the exceptional leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, commending his visionary statesmanship, unshakable resolve, and ability to lead the nation through such trying times with clarity and determination. It stated that his leadership had reignited a spirit of unity and pride in every Indian heart.
Recalling the gruesome events of 22nd April 2025, the resolution described how the Pakistan-based terrorist group, The Resistance Front (TRF)—a proxy of Lashkar-e-Taiba—orchestrated a barbaric massacre in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where 26 innocent Hindu tourists were brutally killed. These victims were singled out and murdered in cold blood, based solely on their religion—a heinous act that sent shockwaves across the nation and the world.
The horror of the massacre triggered a collective emotion across India: grief, fury, and a call for justice. Reflecting the emotions of every Indian, Prime Minister Modi addressed the nation from Madhubani, Bihar on 24th April, saying:
“Today, from the soil of Bihar, I say to the whole world: India will identify, track, and punish every terrorist, and their backers. We will pursue them to the ends of the earth. India's spirit will never be broken by terrorism. Terrorism will not go unpunished. Every effort will be made to ensure that justice is done. The entire nation is firm in this resolve. Everyone who believes in humanity is with us. I thank the people of various countries and their leaders, who have stood with us in these times.”
True to this powerful promise, action soon followed. On the night of May 6–7, 2025, India launched Operation Sindoor, bringing justice through military strength and strategic precision. This operation reaffirmed a critical message to the world: India neither forgets nor forgives acts of terror.
Operation Sindoor was designed as a non-escalatory but targeted strike on terrorist training camps located within Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoJK). It underscored India’s commitment to peace, but also its zero tolerance for terror and readiness to take firm action when provoked.
The NDA’s resolution pointed out a stark contrast with the pre-2014 India, where terror attacks in Indian cities were an alarming norm. Cities like Patna, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Guwahati, Varanasi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, and Delhi were often shaken by bomb blasts and rampant terror activities. But after the NDA came to power in 2014, there has been a clear shift. Terror infrastructure is now uprooted at the source, not just responded to after the damage is done. This transformation in India’s internal security has been widely appreciated by the Indian people.
In closing, the NDA resolution stood not just as a tribute to those lost, but as a clarion call that India will no longer wait to be attacked, it will act. The new India, under PM Modi, is firm, fearless, and determined to dismantle terror, no matter where it hides.
