To build this client base, Dr Manish was tasked with sourcing aspirants, receiving an explicit promise of Rs 50,000 per head for every candidate he managed to arrange for the group. Aspirants Escorted to Hazaribagh Hotel

As the test date approached, investigators established that Dr Manish took active logistics steps to execute the plan. Two to three days prior to the scheduled examination date, he personally reserved a commercial vehicle in Patna to transport the group. He then organized the movement of roughly 30 candidates from Patna to the Kohinoor Hotel, situated in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand.
