Expelled Tamil Nadu Mahila Congress head Hazeena Syed fiercely hits back at Alka Lamba, claiming she had already resigned while boldly telling her to take her massive ego straight to her alleged boyfriend KC Venugopal

In a highly public and open display of a sharp internal rift within the ranks of the Congress party, a massive controversy has erupted. The president of the Tamil Nadu Mahila Congress, M. Hazeena Syed, has stepped forward with explosive and damaging allegations against senior figures, including Alka Nanda (Alka Lamba) and others. This dramatic fallout occurred after Syed claimed she had already resigned from the party, only for the party to subsequently announce her official expulsion.
|
The entire matter was triggered when the All India Mahila Congress abruptly expelled M. Hazeena Syed from her role as the President of the Tamil Nadu Pradesh Mahila Congress with immediate effect. The formal expulsion order, which was officially issued on April 10, 2026, was signed by the All India Mahila Congress President, Alka Lamba. The primary reason cited for this drastic disciplinary action was Syed’s alleged involvement in “anti-party activities.” Justifying the move, the official letter clearly states that the decision was taken “after due consideration of the matter and in the interest of maintaining organisational discipline and integrity.”
However, just hours after this order was made public, Hazeena Syed launched a fierce and highly publicized response on the social media platform X. She directly tagged Alka Lamba in her posts, hurling a barrage of accusations that included severe harassment, financial misconduct, and completely overstepping her authoritative boundaries. In a deeply detailed post that was accompanied by supporting documentary evidence, Syed confidently stated that she had already officially resigned during a media press conference held on April 10, 2026, at precisely 1:00 p.m.—a timeline she notes was well before the expulsion order was ever issued.
Expressing her immense frustration, she wrote in the post: “What kind of a saddist you are, you don’t help any of us in mahila congress but harass us in the name of membership and loot money and enjoy your life, do you have any common sense i have been humiliated i have resigned officially in front of media in a press meet at 1:00 p.m and who the heck are you to send me a expel letter, are you prince diana??”
She did not stop there, further adding a stern warning to the leadership: “Mind you and keep your nastiness with you may be Congress party can bear all your gimmicks and allow Mahila Congress office bearers to undergo harassment, but not me, behave yourself and beware of your chamchas.”
|
To back up her timeline and claims, one of the images shared by Syed was a direct screenshot of an email she had sent to Lamba. In this message, she makes an incredibly explosive and personal allegation, saying, “go and show your ego to your boyfriend K.C. Venugopal not me.” In the email sent today, she also sharply wrote, “Do you have any common sense, I have already resigned yesterday.”
The accusations grew even more serious as she further alleged that Lamba was essentially living off the hard-earned membership funds of the party. Syed openly questioned the auditing practices of the All India Mahila Congress (AIMC) accounts and claimed that relentless harassment was the primary reason forcing her resignation. Taking a legal stance, Syed warned that she would be filing a formal FIR against Lamba and other associates for alleged “illegitimate account transaction” and “membership fraudulence,” confidently stating that she possesses the “legal proofs” to back it up. Furthermore, she pointedly referenced Lamba’s past political association with the Aam Aadmi Party.
Syed elaborated extensively in the email: “And mind you, you have no rights to humiliate me, your living in our membership money, does this party have guts to audit AIMC account, which you are spending on your luxury and is it accountable. One of the main reason for my resignation is your harassment, so mind your job and shut up or you will have to take an F. I. R on you like Your K.C & Co., for illegitimate account transaction for membership fraudulence for which i have legal proofs. You have jumped from Aam Aadmi Party to ruin congress, mind you and stay quite else i will fix u.”
As part of her evidence, Syed attached her formal resignation letter, which was dated April 9, 2026. The letter, printed on the official Tamil Nadu Mahila Congress letterhead, formally announced her firm decision to step down as President. Within the text of her resignation letter, she painted a picture of deep injustice that had been done to her during her tenure as a Mahila Congress President. She added that she had previously appealed directly to the Congress president, Mallikarjun Kharge, to intervene. However, her efforts were entirely in vain, as she claimed he ultimately “supported the corrupt system of our Tamil Nadu Congress”.
Highlighting her feelings of betrayal, she wrote in the resignation letter: “I feel that my dignity and self-respect have been compromised and it is no longer possible for me to continue in this position, where I am myself denied justice where will I render the rights of 33% Women Reservation to my office bearers. I therefore resign from the post of State President, Tamil Nadu Mahila Congress and from the primary membership of the Congress party but will continue to Love our party and the Gandhi’s forever.”
Directing her disappointment toward the highest level of party leadership, she made further allegations against the party president: “My only query is how can I senior as senior as our Hon’ble Congress President can be so malign to support the corrupt system of our PCC President to such extent that the true cadres of our party are forced to leave the party, and the system in Tamil Nadu Congress Party has become highly irreparable and it’s a huge loss to the party.”
Finally, ensuring that local leadership was also held accountable in her statement, Hazeena Syed claimed that the Tamil Nadu Congress president, Selvaperunthagai, deliberately cut his ticket for the upcoming assembly elections strictly due to his own biased personal interest, further deepening the rift within the state's political framework.
