भगवान विष्णु ने गीता में कहा है कि जब जब धर्म की हानि होती है, तब वह अवतार लेते हैं। एवं धरती की समय समय पर रक्षा के लिए विभिन्न अवतार लेते रहे हैं। जब जब भी मानवता ने कातर होकर रक्षा के लिए पुकार लगाई है, तब तब भगवान श्री विष्णु ने उनकी पुकार सुनी है, और उन्होंने स्वयं आकर दुष्टों का नाश किया है। जब त्रेतायुग में पृथ्वी उन क्षत्रियों के अत्याचारों से त्रस्त हो रही थी, जो अपने धन, जन एवं यौवन से उन्मुक्त बने हुए थे।

Shri Jagannath temple administration took to social media to clarify its stance on the proposed sale of 35,000 acres of temple land after the news went viral. Putting out a series of tweets in this regard, the temple administration said that reports of temple land being sold are untrue and motivated.
