"Dost hi nikle katil humare, varna toh na hi dil tha na hi koi jladi alvida kehne ki abhi": Kanhaiya Lal, Umesh Kohle or Praveen Nettaru, common factor in all 3 murder was either a known or friend of the victims, be wary of the extremists in your circle

From Kanhaiya Lal, Umesh Kohle to Praveen Nettaru: How neighbours and acquaintances of Hindu victims plotted their murder

Just a few days after the brutal murder of Praveen Nettaru in Karnataka's Dakshin Kannada district, a new development has come to the light. It has been found out that the father of one of the accused worked as a butcher at a chicken shop run by the BJP Yuva Morcha leader.

Islamist Shafiq Ballere and Zaqir Savanuru, were arrested earlier by the Mangaluru police in connection to the mentioned case, where Sahfiq's father Ibrahim worked as a butcher at Praveen's chicken shop.

The news was confirmed by India Today and Prajavani. While talking about this particular matter, Ibrahim said, “I work at Praveen’s shop. My son and Praveen were friends and used to talk there. Praveen used to come to our house.”

He wept profusely over the arrest of his son and claimed, "We have no idea why my son is arrested. Just because we are Muslims, we are being targeted. Both Shafiq and Zakir aren't like that."

I don't know what it means to others but to me sounds like "Mera vala aisa nahi hai." you got the context here if you know what I mean.

Praveen Nettaru was hacked to death with sharp weapons on July 26 this year.

It was reported through witnesses that the killers had come on a bike in Bellari and attacked the BJP Yuva Morcha Leader with sharp weapons and fled the crime scene thereafter.

The victim was returning back to his home at the time of the attack. Though he was rushed to the hospital, he could not be saved from his untimely death.

This incident clearly points out that Praveen's attacker had all the information about his timing and the road he takes to home. So, what does it conclude?

Why Hindus should be concerned with attacks on Umesh Kolhe and Kanhaiya Lal?

His mistake was only this that he extended his heartfelt support to Kanhaiya Lal on Facebook, who was in turn butchered by Islamist Riyaz and Ghaus for supporting ex-BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma.

What's the motive here? To stop the chain of support among Hindus, to instill fear in Hindus that just by supporting that through a post on social media, forwarding it, or liking it may get Hindus butchered in broad daylight and no one will be able to do anything about it. To keep Hindus sleeping under the essence of songs like "Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram, Patita Pavan Sitaram, Ishwar Allah Tero Nam, Sabako Sanmati De Bhagawan" or disguised quotes like "Ganga Jamuna tehzeeb" or such idioms.

The brutal killing of Praveen Nettaru happens to be the latest case where the assassin and his family were known to the victim.

Last month, it came to light that the photograph and location of Kanhaiya Lal were leaked and made viral by his neighbor Nazim. Nazim was spying on Kanhaiya Lal for a few days and was passing information about his timing and availability.

The accused is a 'pyara vala padosi' who had earlier filed a complaint against Kanhaiya Lal over a Facebook post supporting Nupur Sharma.  Nazim and his co-religionists also conducted a recce of his shop. Kanhaiya Lal’s appeal for security fell on deaf ears and the Udaipur police did not take any action, ultimately leading to his beheading.

The video was uploaded by the killers boasting of service to Allah and threatening that whoever will be supporting Nupur Sharma will meet the same fate.

Again, who helped or caused the actual killing here? Killers are not always those who have the knife in their hands but also who help, initiated, and ultimately let fate take this course of action.

The tragedy that befell the family of Umesh Kolhe was also facilitated by his close friend of 16 years named Yusuf Khan.

Like Kanhaiya Lal, Kolhe was hacked to death for supporting Nupur Sharma, and that too in front of his own son and daughter-in-law. The matter was not even known in the mainstream media until the Kanhaiya Lal murder happened.

While prioritizing his Faith over friendship, Yusuf provoked Islamists to kill his friend. According to police, Yusuf Khan had forwarded Umesh Kolhe’s message supporting Nupur Sharma in WhatsApp groups, instigating Islamists against him by saying that he was supporting someone accused of blasphemy.

Islamists will have their duty prioritized always in the service of their Allah and their Nabi, anything in the whole world if may will come after that only. Even their own family, kids, parents, or relatives - everything and everyone is second only cause first is Nabi and Allah.

“Khan instigated the other accused,” the police had said. Yusuf and Umesh Kolhe knew each other through their occupational links. Khan was a veterinary doctor while Kolhe was a medical store owner.

Eventually, they had become good friends over the years. Khan had even attended the funeral of Umesh Kolhe after the murder. The involvement of a person well known to the victim points toward a disturbing trend in violence by Islamists.

Hindus, who are vocal about their rights, must be wary of extremists in their close circle. Any callous move, coupled with failure to identify potential threats early on, can prove deadly.
