Yet another Hindu girl’s life has been brutally snuffed out in the secular Republic of India. While the government runs campaigns of ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padao’, not one senior government functionary, at either state or center level, has as yet condemned the brutal burning alive of teenager Ankita Singh, a Class 12 student, in Jharkhand’s Dumka.

Ankita was being sexually harassed and stalked by one Shahrukh Hussain. The poor girl informed her father, Sanjeev Singh, who planned to speak to Hussain’s family the next day. But before he could do that, the jihadi-minded youth poured petrol on Ankita from a window while she was sleeping and set her on fire.

Ankita suffered 95% burns and battled for life in hospital for a few days before finally succumbing to her injuries early on Sunday.

A video shows Ankita narrating her harrowing tale while lying in a hospital bed wrapped in gauze from head to toe because of her burns.

She says, “He called and threatened to kill me at 8 PM. When my papa came home at 10 PM, I told him. Papa said that he will deal with it tomorrow. At 4 AM, he sprinkled petrol on me, lit a fire, and ran away. His name is Shahrukh. There was another boy Chottu with him. I want that strict action should be taken against him (Shahrukh) – just like I am dying and suffering, he should too”.

Ankita is dead. As is the conscience of Bharat’s Hindu society.

Jihadi-indoctrinated youth like Shahrukh Hussain are well aware of the nature of the Indian state and Hindu society. Their religious teachers are telling them, directly or otherwise, that Hindu girls are legitimate targets for their sexual lust and/or conversion & marriage.

These Islamists do not fear the law, because they know our weak law enforcement agencies and liberal, anti-Hindu lawyer and judge lobby will ensure they are never seriously punished. A nation that failed to sit up and respond when 7000 Hindu women were raped/molested in just the first few weeks of the months-long WB post-poll pogrom last year, is bound to embolden such elements.

So it was no surprise to see Shahrukh Hussain smile and strut confidently when arrested by Jharkhand police.

With a ‘secular’ CM like Hemant Soren, whose party is full of Islamist leaders, Shahrukh knows that he is safe. The system will do everything to assist him, while Ankita’s parents are made to run around. Just like Kamlesh Tiwari’s murderers managed to get their trial location changed, the secular state and judiciary will bend over backward for him as he is a protected ‘minority’.

Even if he is convicted and sentenced, he will be allowed liberal parole/sentence remissions and celebrated back like a hero by his community and Jamaats. There will be no scrutiny of his trial or post-trial life, no breast-beating if he is allowed to walk free after a few years of jail time. Ankita is a Hindu, the most abhorrent creature in the eyes of our secular state and its establishment intelligentsia.

When will Hindus wake up

छोडो मेहँदी खड्ग संभालो, खुद ही अपना चीर बचा लो

होठ सी दिए हैं जनता के, कानों पर पहरा भी है |
तुम ही कहो ये अश्रु तुम्हारे, किसको क्या समझायेंगे?
सुनो द्रोपदी शस्त्र उठालो, अब गोविंद ना आयंगे |
