An incident has come to light from Pilibhit, which cannot be easily believed. Because this incident puts a question mark on all the three relations of Abba, Chachu Jaan, and Baba. 

This raises the question, what is a girl after all? Is the girl to take revenge or is the girl to save the honor of the family? What is the girl for? Not even a girl, but a little girl! Can a ten-year-old girl be killed by her father, uncle, and grandfather because they want to take revenge on Shakeel?

But it happened! Such a terrible thing has been done, that the soul trembles on hearing it, but the hands of those who killed them did not tremble, and that too those on whom the girl trusted so much that she had gone with them to see the fair.

What is the matter

In fact, on October 3, the dead body of a girl child was found in a field in Madhopur village under Amaria police station in Pilibhit. Anam, a 9-year-old girl, had a deep injury mark on her stomach. The intestines had come out and the girl had died in front of the people. The girl may not be saved alive, so her family members kept asking her who did this.

But how could she tell, the poor thing that the people she loved and trusted had caused her this condition? 

First, they took her to visit the fair and put her to sleep with some sleeping pills, and then at four in the morning Dada Shahzade, Chacha Shadab, and Abba Anees took her to Shakeel's sugarcane field as part of a plan. 

How does she tell in that video that her uncle Shadab and Naseem had attacked her so much that her intestines came out and when she did not die, her father hit a brick on her head?

How would that girl tell?

This is an incident that shows that even now a community that is said to be free of discrimination, and which is said to be the freest for girls, claims to protect the dignity of women behind hijab and burqa. It goes, somewhere in it, there is a very large section that also does such misdeeds for personal enmity.

My heart trembles hearing about this incident. What would be the barbaric mentality that would have made these men do this work?

Why was Shakeel implicated?

The question arises that why Shakeel had to be implicated in such a heinous incident. According to Bhaskar

“Shadab had a love marriage with a girl from Shakeel's family. Shadab originally comes from the Fakir community, while Shakeel belongs to the Ansari community. Due to social distance, there was a dispute between the two families since the love marriage. In the year 2019, Shakeel's wife filed a rape case against Shadab. To take revenge on Shakeel, Shadab was planning to trap him for a long time.

That is, this little girl was sacrificed to trap Shakeel, and that too with the thought that a daughter would be born later, but if the brother goes to jail, there would be a lot of defamation and the family would be disintegrated.

Bhaskar has written in detail about this heinous incident. Hearing this, one would feel livid that can a man be a beast like this too?

Bhaskar has written the statement of the murderers. In police interrogation, Chachujan Shadab told that

The knife to kill Anam was already hidden at some distance from the house. When the brothers go and take Anam out, she is found unconscious. I and Abbu first hit Anam with a stone. Elder brother Anees also hits the daughter's body with a stone. After that, we open her jacket so that the knife goes right inside. At first, Anise was the one who was supposed to kill her, but then he couldn't do it.

“They give me the knife. After that they say, let me turn my face there and then you stab her. As soon as my brother turns his face, I stab her in the stomach, then turn and take her out. Her intestines came out. For about half an hour we see her being killed. She didn't scream so Abbu was holding her throat.

“Anam faints but we thought she is dead. We pick her up and threw her in the wheat field. I bring her shoe and throw it outside the field. After that, we reached home crying and saying Anam is nowhere to be found. Off to look for her again.

“After searching for her, we reached the place where we put her shoes. Seeing the shoe, I shouted loudly, Anam's shoe has been found. Hearing my voice, my elder brother and father came. The people of the village also came. When we went inside the farm, we find Anam alive. We got scared seeing this.

My father runs to her. They ask her again and again who killed you, who killed you. They cried too. The people of the village constantly talk about giving information to the police, but we did not call. We waited for Anam to die. She dies after suffering for some time. After that, we informed the police. As soon as the police arrived, we took Shakeel's name to implicate him. But even after that, we were caught in the police investigation.”

Although all this has come under the arrest of the police, Shadab still regrets that the family they were trying to save has now been completely ruined!

But still, the question remains what are daughters for some such people? Didn't Anees realize that the girl used to call him Abbu, and used to trust him? Chachujan and Dadajan are other relations, but father?

And those who say that there is no discrimination in Islam, what will they say about the murder of girls like Anam because of this discrimination? Or will they remain silent? 

Should Anam's death remain so anonymous? 

Every such incident should be opposed by the educated and liberal sections of Muslim society, at least the brutality done to an innocent girl child should be condemned!

That much sound is needed! Anam's screams may not get lost in the secular discourse, there is also a fear! 

However, an attempt was made to target the Hindus or say, the system of India and Uttar Pradesh, and a discussion was created about the murder of a Muslim girl! But no attempt was made to go to the bottom of the matter. And this is the biggest failure of Muslim discourse that it does not probe itself.
