However, he didn't anticipate encountering young Samar, whose courage rose in the face of danger.

"But Samar opposed it." This act of defiance ignited Arbaaz's rage, leading to a brutal assault that would leave the community in shock. Arbaaz, consumed by anger, unleashed a torrent of violence upon Samar, stabbing him repeatedly. The discovery of Samar, lying in a pool of his own blood, was made by his aunt's tenant, who had just returned from a coaching class. The shock and horror of finding the innocent child in such a state prompted an immediate call to the police, dial 100. However, in a turn of events that added to the tragedy, "the police did not reach the spot."

With no time to lose and the police absent, the neighbors came together in a desperate bid to save Samar's life. He was rushed to the district hospital, where the extent of his injuries laid bare the severity of the assault. "According to doctors, Samar's condition is very critical." Deep wounds from a sharp knife marred his neck, chest, and stomach, with the most grievous injury being to his lungs, which had burst from the attack.
