The discovery of a mass grave of 215 indigenous children in a school in Canada just this year brings up the issue of the brutal manner in which the Americas had been colonized. The bodies of the children were found in the Kamloops Indian Residential School in Kamloops, British Columbia, said to be one of Canada’s largest residential school systems. The bodies belong to children who were students of the school. Some of these children were as young as three years old.
