Following intense and exhausting negotiations that stretched well into the late hours, member nations of the BRICS coalition have successfully adopted the New Delhi Declaration. This unified agreement was cemented just ahead of the 18th BRICS Summit, hosted in India’s national capital from September 12 to 13. Operating under the ambitious theme of “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability,” diplomats worked tirelessly to find common ground on deeply polarizing global issues, most notably the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and the volatile situation in the Middle East.
