Communal tensions gripped Udaipur on August 16 after a class 10 Muslim radical student, Ayaan Sheikh stabbed his Hindu classmate, triggering unrest across the city.

People outside the school rushed Siraj Ahmed and caught him. When caught, Siraj Ahmed was trying to escape with folded hands and legs. The police were called and the accused was handed over.

The injured student was quickly taken to Maharana Bhupal (MB) Hospital by teachers, where he is now receiving treatment in the ICU.
