A video has been doing the rounds on social media where the Christian evangelist Prof Rajendra Bihari Lal, vice-chancellor of the Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences (SHUATS) in Naini, Prayagraj, is heard making misleading statements regarding the ongoing pandemic to encourage fallacious hopes in his ignorant followers.

On Wednesday, the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights wrote a scathing letter to Maharashtra Home Secretary and Mumbai Police Commissioner accusing them of deliberately delaying action against the makers of the controversial Netflix series “Bombay Begums” and asked them to register an FIR in the case immediately.

The Indian Medical Association (IMA), a private association of allopathic doctors in the country, seems to have put itself in a tough spot by embroiling in unnecessary controversies. First, the doctors’ body picked up a fight with Yoga Guru Ramdev by attempting to bully and threaten him over his opinion on the limitations of the allopathic system of medicine.

A complaint has been filed with the Ministry of Home Affairs against John Rose Austin Jayalal, the National President of the Indian Medical Association, seeking action against him for abusing his power and resorting to proselytization during the pandemic.

Following controversial remarks made by Baba Ramdev over the efficacy of modern medicine, the IMA continues to bully and threaten the Yoga Guru as they now want to sue him for his statements. Days after the Yoga Guru fired 25 questions to the Indian Medical Association and pharma companies over the efficacy of the Allopathic treatment, the IMA has sent a defamation notice to him.

Indian Medical Association is the country’s largest professional council of healthcare personnel.

The debate around allopathy and Ayurveda is not new to India with the former discrediting the latter. After 'withdrawing' his controversial comment against allopathy, by writing a letter to the Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan, Baba Ramdev 'with humility' on Monday, posed before the All India Medical Association some questions that entail a swift reversal.. Taking to his official Twitter handle, the Patanjali co-founder and Yoga guru posed as many as 25 questions related to some of the most common diseases and asked for their solution and treatment in the allopathy and pharma industry.

Recently, we have witnessed growing outrage against NCERT because of using vulgar language in small classes where parents are stating that such kind of language with harm their kids. There are thousand of tweets being posted from all over India with textbook images. Not only NCERT have used vulgar languages but also tried to paint Islam as a religion of peace in comparison to Hinduism and shown Muslim rulers in glorified way ignoring even mention of Indian rulers.

21 May 2021 marked the 30th death anniversary of the 6th Prime Minister of India, Rajiv Gandhi.
