A 24-year-old Hindu woman has accused a man named Arshad Pathan of deceitfully posing as a Hindu man named Harish to manipulate her into a relationship. The shocking revelations in the complaint bring to light the extent of the alleged deceit and coercion involved.

On November 24, the town of Sambhal in Uttar Pradesh witnessed a violent eruption when a large mob turned aggressive during a court-ordered survey at the Jama Masjid. The accused, identified as 30-year-old Sameer Mansur, is originally from Bihar and has reportedly been working as a technician in Jammu and Kashmir. The woman involved is employed with a travel agency based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. According to police reports, Sameer allegedly established contact with the woman, who hails from Kujang in the Jagatsinghpur district, through an online gaming platform in 2022. In the initial stages of their acquaintance, he is said to have hidden his real name and religion, introducing himself as "Sameer Kumar" from Bihar.
