In the serene locality of Mahabirstan in Bongaigaon, a chilling discovery disrupted the peace. The lifeless body of a female student was found near the New Bongaigaon rail market on Friday night, casting a shadow over the community. Reports have surfaced that the girl had been missing since March 5, 2024, igniting concerns and sorrow among locals and beyond.
In a heart-wrenching update to the ongoing search, the community's worst fears were realized when the body of a young girl, who had been missing for the past three days, was found near the Dangtal Railway Market in Bongaigaon district.
Her worried family had taken to social media with a missing person's report, desperately seeking any information on her whereabouts. The plea read:
#MISSING || "It is hereby informed that a Girl named Arti Kumar Das has been missing from the last 2 days. Everyone is trying their level best in behalf of searching for her but could not find out her till now. We request anyone who might have seen or heard anything to come forward. If you have any information, please reach out to the authorities immediately."
