To solidify his facade, Arshad went to great lengths, participating in Hindu religious events such as Ganesh Visarjan, visiting temples, and observing Hindu rituals. His actions left no reason for the victim to doubt his false identity.

However, the charade began to crumble as the victim sought clarity on their future together. When she pressed him on the matter of marriage, Arshad's demeanor changed drastically. He demanded that she convert to Islam, insisting it was a prerequisite for their union.
