Indian Army jawan goes missing in Kashmir’s Kulgam, reports claim blood found in his car

A deeply unsettling incident has occurred in the district of Kulgam in Jammu and Kashmir, where an Indian Army soldier, Javed Ahmad Wani, has mysteriously gone missing, a situation that has raised serious concern among the authorities. Javed, 25 years old and hailing from the Achathal region in Kulgam, reportedly vanished on Saturday evening, leaving the local population and officials shocked and alarmed.

Being stationed in the Ladakh region, Javed was enjoying his leave when this incident happened. In an ominous twist, his car was discovered later that evening, around 8pm, in a location known as Paranhall. It's a dreadful sight that no family should ever be forced to see - an empty vehicle that was supposed to safely carry their loved one home. Following this distressing discovery, the security forces were promptly mobilized to conduct a widespread search operation to find the missing soldier.

In a deeply disturbing development, it has come to light that traces of blood were found inside the car of the missing soldier, further intensifying the grim atmosphere surrounding this incident. This ignominious act, where brave soldiers are targeted while unarmed and on leave, is a new low, even for terr*rists who, in their cowardice, can't face our soldiers in combat.

Several reports are suggesting that Javed could have been kidnapped right from his vehicle. This claim is primarily based on the accounts provided by the family, but as of now, the police have yet to officially verify the possibility of abduction.

Upon realizing that Javed hadn't returned from Chowalgam, where he had gone to buy grocery items, his worried family started a frantic search in the vicinity and neighboring villages. During this search, a shocking discovery was made in Paranhal village. A pair of Javed's slippers, and, more worryingly, blood stains were found inside his car. This discovery has only amplified the concern and fear regarding Javed's whereabouts and safety.

The chilling reality is that this is not the first instance of such a horrifying event. Last year, a similar fate was met by soldier Sameer Ahmad Malla, who was ruthlessly abducted and killed by the banned Lashker-e-Taiba terrr outfit. His lifeless body was tragically found in an orchard in the Budgam district. This appalling act was orchestrated by Yusuf Kantoo, one of the oldest surviving terrrists and the so-called 'mastermind' behind the killing, as per the Inspector General of Police, Vijay Kumar.

The police investigation, aimed at unearthing the truth behind Malla's killing, pointed towards Ather Illahi Sheikh, a local villager. After being called for a meeting by Sheikh, Malla was greeted by three other terrrists, including Kantoo, upon his arrival at the meeting spot. Sheikh later confessed that the terrrists had stayed at his house overnight, and the next day they executed their sinister plot to kidnap and kill Malla.

Following this horrific act, Sheikh fetched a shovel from his house, which was used to bury Malla's body. This shovel was later recovered by the police, serving as a haunting reminder of this horrendous crime.
