"It is such a secret place, the land of tears": Madrasa teacher Konnalath Mubashir (40) arrested on the charge of sexually harassing a 11-year-old boy in Kozhikode, had threatened the student not to disclose the incident, Kerala

Kozhikode: Madrasa teacher subjected the student to unnatural torture. The incident took place in Kodhiathur panchayat of Kozhikode.

The Mukkam police arrested Mubashir (40), a teacher of Thotumukmak madrasa and a native of Karassery Kumaranellur, Konnalath at his house.
The incident related to the case took place last January. Mubashir made the child who came to study in Madras a victim of unnatural torture. After the torture, he threatened the student not to disclose the incident. The boy hid the incident out of fear.
However, the incident came to light when the parents noticed a change in the student's behavior and took the child for counseling.

The boy opened up about the torture. Later, a case was registered against the madrasa teacher. The accused was arrested by the police from his house on Tuesday night. The accused was produced in court and remanded.
