Matters worsened when he caught the two red-handed in Hotel Marriott, Lucknow, resulting in physical altercations as he tried to confront them.

He even claimed that the police refused to register a case of death threats against Jyoti, citing her status as an officer. Despite all the odds, Alok managed to lodge a complaint at the Home Guard Headquarters.

On her part, Jyoti refuted all allegations, stating that her husband was demanding Rs. 50 lakh and a house from her, leading her to file a case against him. She sought a divorce, indicating a total breakdown of their relationship.
